Okay, We Won. We were brilliant and we deserved the win. We really did. Especially since 2-3 weeks ago, we could barely beat Wakefield!
So, just wondering what we thought of the decisions by Thaler today?
Also, someone sack Johnathon Davies.

We got away with two blatant decisions that should have been no tries. But than again Wigan got three tries of blatent forward passes, and we were cheated out of last years Cup final. Some you win some you lose. Personally I thought Thaler let too much go today that could have been pulled. Still the best ref, but too much leaniancy.

they've been on the Good end of dodgy decisions more than they've been on ar$e end of them throughout their recent History so no one ever needs to apologise.
they were gifted a championship on a dodgy decision in 1994, (not that I still struggle to let it go). so they have plenty in the bank before anyone can feel sorry for them........

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

I thought the penalty he gave Wigan in the first half in front of the posts which led directly to their first (?) try was poor - he gave interference but Tomkins clearly moved off the mark.
Other than that I thought he was refereeing perfection, as ever.

Totally agree, there is a fine line between allowing a game to flow and it getting stup. It helped and hindered both sides. With Leeds looking dangerous near the wigan line and Wigan at their best from a quick ptb |

Never mind moving off the mark he was clearly going to keep on running so the leeds player completed the tackle. Other than that he was good and nice to see him trust his positioning and judgement enough not to have to refer most of the tries
