| Obviously wasn't the players' fault and nobody's tired because the 17, sorry, 16, from the Saints game all unrotated in a squad rounded out by Lunt, Moore and BJB:
1. Brent Webb
2. Ben Jones-Bishop
3. Kallum Watkins
4. Zak Hardaker
5. Ryan Hall
6. Danny McGuire
7. Rob Burrow
8. Kylie Leuluai
10. Jamie Peacock
11. Jamie Jones-Buchanan
12. Carl Ablett
13. Kevin Sinfield (c)
14. Lee Smith
15. Brett Delaney
16. Ryan Bailey
18. Chris Clarkson
20. Darrell Griffin
21. Richard Moore
31. Shaun Lunt
(would expect BJB/Smith and Moore/Griffin to miss out)

| No Kirke?
Moore in. I'd give Moore the nod for the 10 minute cameo instead of the out of form Griff.

| So full strength (squad number wise) apart from McShane and Kirke and their inclusion in a full strength selection would be questionable.
No more excuses. Time to buck up or ship out.

| No surprises there, didn't think McDermott would make any changes even after what he said on Monday night. Think it will be a similar story for the Wigan and Warrington games that follow. Some may get a chance after that with games against Wakefield, Castleford and London.
No Hauraki which means the disappointing Clarkson will probably play again.

| Unbelievable that Ward still doesn't get a game.
Can't even say I will definately watch this on Sunday, decide on day. Same players week after week after week.

| We look tired, is it any wonder? I can understand a beaten coach wanting to give his charges another shot to prove they can do it, but to stick with the same players when the problem wasn't lack of effort on Monday seems like a very belligerent strategy. I watched the BMD interview on the rhinos website earlier where he talks about a number of players having "thigh strains and groin strains". I'm not medical expert but I doubt another game is good for injuries like those.
I wonder if the 17 selected for matchday will all play this week? If not then you'd have to expect GH to be asking serious questions of his coaching team.

Is he doing exams? If so you could see why the club would leave him out of the higher pressure environment of the first team until that's over.

I could have understood that yes. That was the reason I thought he was put back in the academy for after Easter. But then he is training all week with the first team, and playing the under 20 matches. And someobdy said the other day he only had two a levels, PE and English.
So I hardly think that exams will be the reason he is not inlcuded in the first team.

It is getting a bit boring now. The criticism of his charges was obviously deadly serious

| I suspect the public criticism of the players will have been followed by a private kick up the bum. This is the opportunity to show they listened.

If he sees a turd he's a good civillian and he bags it up.
You've been leaving plenty of them lately.
I can understand the logic of giving them an opportunity to respond to his (underserved, IMO) public criticism before making changes, even though I would have personally liked to see Hauraki for Clarkson, Ablett for Hardaker and Ward into loose.
What I will be looking at is how Mcdermott responds to the errors he made on Monday.

| As a Bulls fan would have loved Mcdermott to make changes. Think we would have been more likely to beat you. I would have loved to face Mcshane & Ward, rather than a hurting Burrow, Sinfield etc.
The same squad, whilst some fans might not like it, will be bang up for this big time. There is a lot riding on this game and i don't think now is the time to be making panic changes.
Bulls win, suddenly we make a bit of a gap, and could potentially go up to 6th. Leeds win, they leap frog us and have Saints back in their sights with a game in hand. Massive 2 points at stake here for both clubs and i can't wait.

| Glad to see Richard Moore get a shot. Well deserved on the basis of his performance against saints in under-20's last week. He runs hard and staright and he's got a devastating and unexpected offload when he gets it right.
