| Yeah, it's not like his run and pass made the first try or his kick return set up position for the second.

| Thought we went ok, did drop a bomb in the first half but sometimes you just have to credit the kicker (Wilkin i believe) up into the sunshine and coming down right near the crossbar. Took some really good ones in the second half though under very strong pressure.

Without him tonight, out points total could well have registered zero!
He put Hall away for the first try, Hardaker in the build up to the second, and sent JJB over for the third.
Either trolling or clueless.

| There isn't another fullback in SL armed with the confidence to allow so many bombs to hit terra firma.

...there's no doubt the man is a dichotomy. He was instrumental in ALL of the Leeds tries and some of his takes under high pressure were top class, but .......
Tell you what though.....at the moment Leeds will miss him badly when he departs. So much of Leeds' attack is utterly dependent on his input.

This.
With no Webb we might as well leave Hall unused on the bench next year with an unused hooker because who else will pass him the ball?

| IIRC there were plenty bemoaning his re-signing even for this year. I wasn't one of them I hasten to add....

That one didn't really matter, as you say it was the kick that was the quality. Even had Webb took that ball he was still going to be put behind the line. So a drop out either way.

I was. But other than the petulance, I think he has been quality this year.

| I agree he was awful last night. He gave away posssession and left us very vulnerable at the back. He didn't look in control at all and made some terrible decisions......
Oh, sorry, I thought this was the Ganson performance last night thread!!

| I was definitely against giving Webb another year last year, and hold my hands up, he has has been a standout player this year.
I admire a lot of what Webb does, but he has a tendancy to make some blindingly wrong decisions, especially defensively. Going forward his big issue is the tendancy to 'drift' the pass forward, but at least he is spotting the pass to give even if the execution falls some way short.
The issues with Leeds attack go very deep at the moment as mentioned on other threads and I hope we can look at using Webb leaving to go back to the drawing board.
