Hi all

Just thought I'd sign up to southstander.com as I've moved to Leeds for 6 months on student exchange from Melbourne. I've been missing my fix of rugby league action and decided to adopt the Rhinos as my league team while I'm in Leeds. I've been to the last three games and I have to say, I've fallen in love with the club and last week was not just a great performance, but proved to me what a great club this is. I'll give you another, I lost my ticket stub after last weeks game (I have a habit of collecting stubs of the games/concerts I go to) went to the ticket office and asked them if they could print me another ticket stub. The girl at the office told me that she would give me her ticket stub and then went to her car and handed it to me!!!! Now, for me, that was a big thing for me. She gave me her ticket stub like it was no big deal. That little thing meant a great deal to me!

There will always be a place in my heart for the Rhinos and Leeds rugby league.

P.S I've got tickets to the Grand Final on Saturday and will be getting the coach at 1pm. Will be at the Theatre Of Dreams, singing loud for my new favourite side!!!

welcome to southstander stephen,the only advice that i would give you is whatever you do keep away from a certain poster on here called keith swiftcorn as hes a wind up merchant,who whenever the club proves him wrong he goes into hibernation,if the rhinos win on saturday and your on a short term visa then you may not see him on here

Am good sir, been having a blast here in Leeds! All is good and have loved watching the Rhinos over the last 3 weeks, especially last week, thought they were dead and buried. I will say that was a bloody brilliant game, everything you could want from a preliminary final!

Am looking forward to Saturday!

First of all welcome, you've certainly come at a good time. If you'd have started following at the beginning of the season I'm not sure you'd have fallen in love then!

As for Saturday, there'll be a good 20-25000 Rhinos fans in the ground. Saints support wasn't great the last time we played them there but I'm not sure what their ticket sales are like this time.

One things for sure, you'll be blown away by the atmosphere at times on Saturday!

Was blown away by the support last week v Warrington! Never ever heard that sort of noise from bout 2,500 people in the Leeds end. Was blown away!
