Agree disgusting making noise in the minute silence. Had friends come home in a box, and it was quite a sad moment till idiots piped up, shows no respect

Whilst I can understand the sentiment behind the first paragraph who are u calling football nobs?, particuarly as u are using the nickname of a football team as ur username

But we dont sing football songs do we? We are a different club, once the footy season begins your crowds wil plummit, like the club will the same as we have in the last few years.

Stop over-exagerating the noise made during the minutes silence. There were a couple of idiots making noise. This seemed to be general sort of ignorant conversations and a few people telling them to shut up. There was no booing to my knowledge. Otherwise, it was as well-observed as always.

Where were the booers? Some idiots in the SS as usual, but I believe the majority of noise was from down stairs.

In defence of the people making the original noise it seemed to be coming from below the stand where people may have been unaware (wrongly) what was happening. The idiots shouting from the back just made it worse - what were you hoping to achieve?

I think your forgetting that Leeds have always been a big club with one of the biggest followings, unlike bradford pre bulls era who wouldn't have been above hull, cas, wigan and even maybe widnes in terms of our big games.

First time I’ve been to Headingley this year and I must admit that it wasn’t a pleasant experience whatsoever. Both sets of fans were very verbal in their hatred of each other (shoot the scum) and the vibes coming from the southstand are very negative indeed. The people walking across the Weston Terrace during the minutes silence concluded for me what was the worse minute’s silence Headingley has ever had when it comes to respecting the dead.

To round it all off I thought I was seeing a Leeds Tykes match with all the kicking at goals involved and at one point towards the end I started singing swing low sweet chariot.

The minute silence is over and I reserve the right to now make as much noise as I want about the injustices I saw on the Headingley terraces tonight. Perhaps I need to get out more but the murmurs of conversation during what was supposed to be a minutes silence around my presence this evening shocked me because it’s something I just didn’t expect.

A majority of people were silent, but the bottom line is the majority let the minority get away with things and that is what rages me.
