| So that would take him to 32-ish at the end of that contract.
Then back to SL for a couple of final seasons?

| He told me he wasn't coming back because he doesn't like Ryan Bailey.
[size(But when it's going so well for him over there, why would he consider coming home? It's not a tough call)[/size

You're obsessed with TMFMISL.
Try not mentioning it for a week. Just try. Gayer.

| Good luck to him, he had the bottle to try it & it's worked out well for him & maybe England too.
Pity for us though because I'd have been delighted to see him pull on a Rhinos shirt again.
Like I now wish we'd re-signed Morley when he returned.
I wonder if that now means even more poms will give it a go down under.

| Not sure whether it will benefit England or not.
There has been little evidence of it making much of a difference having Morley out there previously and I'm doubtful that situation will change with Ellis and Burgess, especially if they are prevented in any way from returning to play in the mid season international.

I'd imagine more players would go purely because they know people down there that are becoming a success. There's only really Morley in recent times that has been a success and now theres Ellis, and Burgess and Flanagan are both playing well in their first seasons. Flanagan in particular must take away some of the fear of playing in the competition, he wasn't a particular stand out player here but he's doing well.

you obviously havnt read his damning report of his time at wigan under nobby have you?
he basically referred it to 5 drives and a kick followed by a good chase, hence your thoughts regarding him not being a stand out player for you,and the reason he chose to move to oz!
but he is doing rather well isn't he,although he is on a very low/subsidised contract by all accounts as his dad "terry <flash> flanagan" has apparently subsidised his first years contract at wests tigers himself in the hope that he can earn himself a decent contract in his own right when it expires!

great to read that gaz is extending his stay over there,he has proved to the aussie media that he is a world class player, and in only his first season there, gaz obviously didn't need no settling in period in order that he would be deemed good enough to win their player of the year award in his first season
RESPECT

It seems to me that that is exactly like the game down under.

But there's nothing wrong with healthy debate.
If you notice I try never to descend to name calling, you're entitled to your opinion as I am to mine.
I respect that.
Regrettably, many on here don't.
