after recent performances this should be a cracker , both sides are coming into abit of form and with out burrow i fancy wires chances but your the champions for a reason , shame it aint on sky would prefer this game than wakey and bradford

Am coming up from the Midlands for this one,,,should be a cracker.Stopping in headingley and going back on the Sunday,,,(might catch the Hudds v Wigan game on the way back....Back on the subject of leeds v wire,,,how close is this one?,,,,Wire i think,,,but.....there again,,,,Leeds by 4,,,,Hmmmmm,,Can*t wait...

This will be our toughest game yet imo and the defence will need to sharpen up big time.
On the upside we have Ali and Beastwood back so i fancy our chances.

We were discussing this last night, Wire are going to be tough to turn over in our present form.

Ok we’ve got Ail and Beastwood back but the loss of wee Rob and Smith (possibly) will reduce our attacking options further.

I think we’re going to struggle TBH mate.

Apart from the obvious weakness in defence we will need to improve 3 areas of our game to have a chance next week:

1 - General kicking game. Not good enough. Too many kicks go dead or are not effectively chased. We will need to lock Wire in their 20 to nulify threat out wide.

2 - Momentum. When we finally build some - we don't keep it long enough. We are turning soft ball over. I'd also like to see us turning the screw more as well and force more repeat sets and put the pressure back on our opposition.##

3 - More 'zing' in the tackle required - IMO we don't make the most of tackling the opposition. Probably down to fatigue (coughing up ball and giving penalties away etc) but we really need to start springing up to meet teams and really giving them a good rattle. We're really going through the motions in this department - and with the likes of Morley, Wood, Carvell (all excellent propes IMO) charging at us we will need to meet them down the middle. If we don't we will lose field poistion, momentum and no doubt they have enough flare out wide to pick the holes in our flakey flanker defences.

think it will be a tough game. we will def need to be sharper in defence, and more fluid in attack, we dont need to be giving posession away easily. Dont think rob missing will effect us too badly to be honest. will allow us a bigger pack with sinfield at stand off. and if smith is missing surley donald isnt far off being fit?

Because he suffered a concussion last night so needs to pass the "cog. test" before he'll be allowed to play.
