Both sides had their injuries going in to the game. It should probably have disrupted St Helens more but you'd never have guessed it on the night. Never even heard of this Jamie Foster but you'd be tempted to leave Meli out of the side just for his goal-kicking, 16 from 16 ain't a bad start.

St Helens had two players unable to play for a home nation in Flannery and Puletua while Leeds had three in Delaney, Leuluai and Buderus. So between the two clubs five imports played and seven were sat in the stands.
