| What exactly is going on with JJB this season.
He must be dropping the ball 2 or more time PER GAME! Is something on his mind?
Should McClennan drop him for Catalans?
Discuss.

| There is only one aspect of his form lacking, shocking handling. His work rate is, as usual, excellent.
I would keep him in the team to work through this.
If you're looking for a back row candidate to drop there's a massive softcock with a weak work rate I could mention.............

For somebody who is accused of having an agenda against JJB, I would like to say you make it sound like all season so far. That is simply not the case, before the last 3 games he was having a good season.
I think a lot has been expected of the experienced players lately and he is taking responsibility a bit too much. Of course all for the right reasons. He is just trying too hard for the team, and I don't think he is 100% fit.
He needs a rest, and we need him playing in a full strength team, then he will be back to how he was playing.

Kirke?
I'm with you though. His overall positives far outweigh the negative of his handling.

| Agree with what's already posted there are certain players like Jjb and i'd add Mcguire into that mix that are trying "too hard" to make things happen but their effort is still top line and i'm sure the quality will out once the passes start sticking and the timing clicks.
Asfor dropping him there may be a case for rotation when everyone is fit but i wouldn't drop him.

| JJB needs to shave the sideburns. They're acting like blinkers so he doesn't see the pass coming properly!

Im not complaining about his workrate, it's his shocking handling that worries me and that hasn't just happened the past 3 games, I've seen him do it all season.

Agree on both counts.
I suspect that if Ablett plays on Monday, then Kirke may be dropped. The other option would be that Sinni wont play as it wouldn't suprise me if Bluey had said to both Ablett and Sinni that they will play in one match each over Easter.

13 handling errors in 9 games shows you are wrong
In 5 of the 9 games he made less than 2 handling errors which again shows you are wrong.
Even though you're shouting YOU ARE STLL WRONG.

Why, because he knocked on in a game?
Should McClennan also consider dropping Webb, Delaney, Senior, Hall, McGuire, Bailey, Kirke, Buderus and Lauitiiti also after they knocked on last night as well.
Jones-Buchanan does need to work on one area of his game though - drop kicking.

| I agree he isnt the only leeds player with butter fingers, you cant fault him for effort, I would be happier seeing KIRKE dropped for the Catlans game, rater than JJB.

Hard to imagine Kirke being in a position to charge a kick down & score a try such as JJB did in the 2nd minute against Hull KR.
He does seem to have passes fired at him so he gets man & ball as a result of our insistence on a flat attack, hardly surprising then that we drop so much ball, JJB included.

Hard but not impossible. Melbourne's scramble was better than Hull KR's but if the ball had sat up for Kirke like it did for Jones-Buchanan I'd have probably backed him to score the opener in this season's WCC.
