1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

| I appreciate that individual games have been analysed to death. I also appreciate it is ridiculously early to consider the situation as a blip and nothing more.
But what is the general concensus on both games from the terraces? I would imagine nearly all would have expected tough games as both are derby type games, but in all honesty, I would have expected Leeds to win both.
I don't recall Leeds being slow starters, in fact your consistency in the league is to be heralded. Are Leeds approaching this season with different techniques than previous seasons?
Whay say you?

Nothing at all, we have played worse than this in each of the last 3 seasons at some point.

My best guesstimate is that its incredibly difficult to be mentally 'up' for defending the title at the beginning of the year after having won it three on the bounce. Its generally held that retaining a title is far more difficult than winning it in the first place for this reason. I presume it gets far tougher each year.
I think the side struggled with it last year when there were a number of games where performance wasn't quite there, & discipline seemed poor but they were able to raise themselves for the business end.

| Wakefield and Castleford both made the play-offs in 2009 and often (usually) give Leeds a tough fixture anyway in what is a big fixture for them.

I've come a long way from Graybridge, where I was lucky to get a 'you dismally untalented little creep' from G1 the school bully.
Quote: Puig-Aubert "tvoc do you get 'a time in possession' stat from opta?'"
I'm limited to what OPTA report via the official rlSL Websiterl.

No doubt. An attack of the 24 hour flu in my case. Struck down on Sunday evening after the loss at Belle Vue. I had to tell myself to get a grip, it's only two points.
And so the sequence goes on, Leeds have never won and Wakefield have never lost with that referee in charge.

I say indifferent is a massive understatement. Try terrible, disastrous, embarrassing, they are all nearer the mark.

I'm glad it's at this end of the season, can't imagine what it must be like to have a terrible, disastrous, embarrassing end to the season at OT when it really matters.
