With the new season a few weeks away and what is perceived as a stronger squad in terms of depth this year what would be your 1st 17 man squad with eveybody fit and raring to go??

I really think Disko deserves to start at 9 on merit in spite of the quality that buderus has.
The other debate is who doesn't get into the 17 out of Bailey,Kirke and Burgess.
It's a tough one because i think if everyone's fit then Eastwood,Ali and a 9 are certainties.

I agree with pretty much all of that but I would try and get Armor in there at least 10 times this season. With a squad with such strength in all positions and equally as good backup for the starting 13 it’s a dream but also nightmare who to choose haha.

Looking at the squad i think that Eastwood will be in the starting 13 with Ablet missing out also Buderus to start when fully fit.
I can only see a very good season ahead with Giants in 2nd place, the team as whole looks very strong , the hard part will be keeping all the team happy because most would walk directly into any other team as Sinfield said in his winning speech at old trafford.

you know that it's pretty much guaranteed we'll win nothing this year

Same as OP but probably start Buderus even though it would be harsh on Disko, not sure either is that effective off the bench either. Burgess/Ali/Eastwood are certs on the bench for me then depends on the game whether we need another prop or a back as the 4th

Providing everyone is fit Bluey will have some very useful selection headahces. And considering we have three decent youngsters out on loan I would say our squad is looking very healthy.

Who are our winger/full back replacements incase of injury?

BJB can be recalled for full back.Kallum Watkins can cover wing and centre.
