| The rain was incredible - last time I got that wet was at a Hull away game .
Given the conditions it was always going to be a war of attrition and give the players big props they really toughed it out - the defence was something else.
The fact they played most of the game with 15 players and Ablett and Smith both looked lame at the end it was a fantastic effort.
Smith hammered us once again with the penalty count especially in the first half we need to address this quick if we are to move forward.
Having said that I thought we were a bit fortunate to get away with what seemed a high shot with two minutes to go and the final penalty was the correct decision. A bit a luck at last.
Senior really is starting to look like this might be a season too far - he needs using more sparingly as he is now having more bad games than good ones. Webb had one of those nights where nothing went right and he never looked like catching a high ball all night. As for Burgess less said the better.
On the positive Peacock, Buderus, Sinfield and McGuire were immense on the night closely followed by JJB and Lee Smith.
A draw would have been a fairer result tbh but a win is a win - was it worth getting soaked through? you bet it was

| Ablett to me was useless tonight. I felt more cofident when Lee smith was on the wing than donald he is a more defensively safer opyion IMO

Donald is a left winger, playing on the right to cover the fact the squad is short of 3/4's

Agree with most you say apart from Senior.
Yes he is having the odd bad game now and then this season but tonight, apart from one or two silly errors I thought he was one of our better players going forward.
Attrocious conditions a factor but young Burgess is going to have to work on his ball retention in contact as i've noticed he loses the ball a fair few times even in the dry.
We've really got to stop giving refs the oppertunity to penalise us though. That was killing us tonight, that and losing possession first and second tackle meant we were always defending although I know the conditions played a part but to be fair we've coughed up a lot of early ball all season.

Only saw ìt on sky but:
1) Leeds were lucky not to give away a penalty for a tackle in the air.
2) Senior seemed fine for me and appeared to be Leeds only go forward three quarter.
3) The forwards took control and then in the first half an t then los it after the third try. They never really got it back.
4) They gave away too many silly penalties.
5) Smith was overzealous giving the penalty fot incorrect play the ball on one occasion, when he ignored it for the rest of the night.

agree with everything there ER. i thought our kicking game was bobbins again too. castlefords was miles better and got them a couple of tries. i wish we'd mix it up a bit and kick to different areas and people instead of straight down the fullbacks throat

Has to be. Danny Ward drop goal. The score was 15-6 and the date was 15/6. I went with my mum as it was her birthday and none of the rest of the family could make it, and it's still the only way I can remember her birthday to this day!

| Was always going to be a real arm wrestle in those conditions, a sign of a champion team is being able to pull through, and that's what we did.
