That seemed a slightly odd question to somebody who has only really had one coach in their pro career didn't it?

I'm not.. he had no choice but to say that after noble has practically been his one and only coach. Sounds like he's not gettin on with him as much as he used to though. I think a break away from nobby would do him good.

| respect to him for not avioding questions about getting owned by willie mason etc
most people would have avoided that.
like last year after the grand final, John Wilkin decided not to reply to.
"John do you feel stupid after throwing your teddy out of the cot about your comment regarding cameras in the changing rooms"

Quite. Point well missed though.
Not only has Noble been just about his only club coach but probably his only International coach also barring David Waite. What a kick in the nuts that would have been for Nobby.

Would it have been enough for Nobby to stop chewing for a minute? I grant you it would truely have been a pmsl moment, well almost.

Well, he's not tested himself playing under a half decent coach in the NRL ...
Another one of those I-want-to-test-myself-in-Australia type players, until it comes to the crunch and in reality they'd prefer to run a few sandwich shops, rather than test themselves down under.

He can earn more over here I would have thought. Which in fairness would be my priority. Short career and all that. The point he makes about his friends and family is a fair one also. Brian Carney and Richie Mathers both apparently struggled with homesickness being so far away from friends and family.

| Spent force is Fielden.
It doesn't seem to be through lack of effort, he just gets bullied a lot on the pitch.
Last week at Wakie he celebrated his try like he'd won a grand final. Fair enough, a prop who hasn't scored in years, ok I get that, and it was an important try in the game. But all he did was bump off Sam Obst, he should be doing that on a weekly basis, at least. So he seemed more surprised than anyone when it happened.
He still has the build, and he does seem to put the work in, but he doesn't impress anymore. Far from it, usually A Another.
