Couldn't find the other one.

Leeds v Huddersfield

Brent Webb 8 - Two good tries, caught everything well, good performance.
Scott Donald 4 - I don't know if it's his injury and a bit of rust but he was shocking. Get him back on the left.
Ashley Gibson 6 - Did nothing wrong, but nothing special. Average.
Keith Senior 7 - Good assist for the Hall try, created a few chances.
Ryan Hall 6 - A bit quiet, but well taken try.
Danny McGuire 8 - Him and Burrow were working as a unit tonight, alot better.
Rob Burrow 8 - Same as above
Ian Kirke 6 - Good yards, a couple of errors and penalties though.
Matt Diskin 7 - Better second spell, did well to take the try although it shouldn't have been given IMO.
Jamie Peacock 8 - Great performance, always made the most metres.
JJB 6 - Nothing special.
Ablett 5 - Too many errors and silly penalties, he needs to cut it out of his game.
Sinfield 8 - Not MOM like on Sky but good kicking game, great 40-20.

Buderus 9 - MOM - Best performance in a Leeds shirt, fantastic break, second time in two games he has done that now and the distribution to the forwards and halves from dummy half is brilliant.
Ali 6 - Quiet.
Burgess 7 - Good go forward
Bailey 5 - Hardly remember him having the ball, also sloppy defending that led to one of their breaks, but I can't remember if it was the break that led to the try.

A couple of Burgess' shots tonight on opposition forwards running drop outs etc in were huge.

One on Crabtree and I think one on Mason.

There was a good hit by Buderus on Mason too i thought icon_smile.gif

Hardman Bailey was anonymous tonight, rarely took the ball up and looked a shadow of the "enforcer" he has looked in recent weeks.

Thought out of all our forwards Bailey got the quiker play the ball and we seemed to get forward quicker after his drives.

What a load of bollox.

You conveniently missed Webb doing the self same thing as donald but because its Webb it's ignored.

Donald dropped it twice, so what. Not the best game but A 4? What a joke.

JJB worked very hard as did Ali.

You pick up on Baileys sloppy defence yet ignore the same by Burgess,

Buderus a 9. Where is the emoticon for shakes head and walks away?

None of them were brilliant because Leeds can be a lot better, and individual performances can be better.
Having said that it was a good win, and confidence grew thoughout the match.

I was watching it from the television.
Most things Donald did last night were mistakes.
Buderus was excellent in attack and defence.

The season starts in October. Until then, don't panic!:

I thought Kirke has a decent game. He is a real improver, and doubt we have seen the best yet.

Ryan Hall impresses me the more I see him. Wasn't too sure early in the season, but he could go on to be a top quality player.

Gibson? Sadly I don't see his long term future being at Leeds.

Very strange to see Sinfield taking (and kicking) the 2 penalties in the 1st half. Maybe a slight change of policy?

I agree some of his marks are pants, but I have to ask if you watched the game also.

Donald made 4 mistakes with kicks not 2. But dont want to get into highlighting him again.

Buderus was superb, and I would say the high mark is correct. Although I would say Diskin was his equal, which is why the I dont agree with the OP marks. I also thought McGuire was superb, and the equal of Diskin and Buderus.

I would have put those 3 players on the same mark.

I also though Hall had a good game, and deserving of higher than a 6.

We had some good go forward and played some smart rugby. Best all around performance of the season so far against some very determined and physical defence from Hudds.

Good kicking game and we moved the ball well when needed.

Difficult to give players a number but I would say that Buderus looks ready to play 60+ minutes and to get the best out of him we will have to do that. Webb was moving freely and looked like his old self. Forwards get the credit - they looked up for it and confident. Good job done by the coaching team to lift spirits - as can be seen from Sinfields after match interview.

Also nice to see the usual Stains muppets back on here displaying their now deeply ingrained insecurity. "Must put Leeds down, must not let mind accept possibility of another GF pasting, must make Leeds fans understand finishing top after regular rounds better than winning GF....must....mus." Just makes winning even better.. icon_lol.gif

I thought Huddersfield were rubbish, but hey it ain't Leeds fault that they go MIA every time the Champions turn up.

And to all those knocking Buderus, in future listen to the Wand, he's still one of the top 3 number 9's in the world, the hit on Mason was good as well wasn't it, especially when he looked at Mason and just shrugged his shoulders!! icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

PS

Scotty must have got a significant pay rise, he must have been celebrating since, and why didn't one of his team mates tell him to catch the middle one!!
