Is it that he just hasnt found his feet yet or that he is pants!!

i know you will all have a go saying how can i say things like that about players from the team i support. But sorry to me he is a very expensive waste of space!!

60 minutes rugby in 7 months. Give the guy a chance! We looked stronger in defence with him there than with Diskin last night imo.

I totally disagree diskin gives us width and finds the gaps buderus doesnt. if he is formally the best hooker in the world ex aussie international it shouldnt matter how many mins he has played he is experienced enough to go out there and do what he does best, and if thats it what we are seeing then. Diskin should always be first choice

What does this have to do with my comment about us looking stronger in defence last night with Buderus out there?

When Sheriffe went on his 60metre run last night before Ablett was sin binned it was a gap between Diskin and McGuire he ran through, just as an example.




If that is your opinion then your living in coocoo land to think it wont take time for Buderus (or anyone else for that matter) to settle into a way of doing things. I am sure we are vastly different to the Knights and it WILL take time.

Look at Donald, it took him a full season before he got into the groove for us!

I think we'll see Buderus come good, he just needs a little bit of time and if people are going to write him off after 3 20min spells then heaven help any new player Leeds sign.

Im sick of some of you guys who wont have a bad word said about our team well here are a few points of view from me.

We have certain players in our team who believe they have a given right to be in that team no matter what

I will start with buderus. Not fit? shouldnt be playing then end of!! if he is fit then he is not very good

Senior, past it drops the ball far too often, stick him in the second row or drop him

Bailey. ineffective drives, would rather have a fight than play the game!!

Sinfield did he play last night? only time i saw him was arguing with ref!!

I'd drop/rest Matt Diskin for the Salford game and bring Paul McShane in...

now now lad, there is a difference between criticising a performance from say, Senior last night, who was awful imo, and critcising Buderus who did nothing wrong (other than give away a penalty in the first half) but didnt 'sparkle' lets say.

Senior has no reason to drop the balls he did last night etc if you look at it in terms of knowing the team, knowing the conditions etc etc etc, Buderus on the other hand.......

Criticise all you like, but if your slagging off a player like Buderus who is still coming back to match sharpness AND trying to fit into a new team at the same time, then give him a break imo.





I am confused, why blame the players for being in the team and not the coach who picks them....?

To comment on your points....Buderus I have commented on, Senior had 1 bad game, he has actually been one of the form centres so far this season imo, Bailey did some graft last night, was he anymore ineffective than any other of our forwards? Cant argue with you too much, Sinfield only showed up the last 10 mins when we were chasing the game.

You obviously haven't played sport then have you. Buderus has been injured from a long time. While he may be physically fit he is not match fit. And don't say well don't play him then because you only get match fit by playing in matches. I'm not defending him just because he pulls on a rhinos shirt it is just fact

Seeing Buderus play live for Newcastle only a couple of years back, I can honestly say it was one of the best hookers performances I've ever seen. I'm confident that once he gets fitter and the pitches get drier you'll see the best of him.

Then put him in reserve grade to gain match fitness, or is that beneath such superstars? Webb is also not back to match fitness all this shuffling and dancing rather than driving the ball into the forwards (get him to watch Briscoe's performance yesterday). Put them both in the reserves and let them know they are not the superstars they obviously think they are. Saints put Meli in their reserve grade on his belated return and look how they are performing.

I think Webb has still got his injury at the back of his mind, and has not got the confidence in his body yet. That will come.

Why do 2 players trying to gain match fitness suddenly come to them thinking they are superstars? I dont see what is obvious about it at all.....

Can you give me examples of when either have, this season, thought they were superstars? Please also make sure they are obvious examples to back up your argument.

Its all well and good criticising them (I am actually not sure why by the way) but its not Buderus and Webb picking the team is it.

Then build his confidence in the reserves.
