| Have copied this idea from the Wire board where they are going nuts over signing Inglis.
How would our top 10 stack up?
Don't need to have had stella careers for us, more about the gravity and excitement of the signing.
My picks in no particular order,
Danny Buderus (anybody ever signed an Ozzy and NSW skipper before?)
Peacock - made all the difference
Webb- was current kiwi international in his prime
Tony Carroll- as above.
Ali Lau- as above
Ellery Hanley - collosus of the game
Keith Senior- was very sought after at the time
Iestyn Harris--all class and best British half I've seen
Tom Briscoe - was Hulls best player and International class when we signed him
Adrian Vowles- hadn't he just won Man of Steel when we signed him?
This choice is from mid 90's onwards when I started watching league and playing at school.

| Vowels won the MOS 99 and signed for us in 2001, about 18 months past his best.
We signed Hanley in 91 didn't we?

Thanks for the info
Had to include Hanley though as it puts the Inglis signing into context, ie) a player of magnitude with a good few years left in them.....

| Schofield?
Craig Innes was a great signing, and a very good player.

| Grothe, Schofield, Crooks, Hanley, Harris, JP, Buderus and Ali Lau have been the biggest groundbreaking superstar signings the club has made by Leeds in my time watching the club.
Some worked and some didnt. Only time will tell on Inglis.

| as an oppo fan, lauititi was amazing that you got him so early in his career, that really did seem to come out of nowhere.
And whilst on field it didn't pan out too well, i'm sure i remember ben walker's signing as being a big thing at that time.

| Brad Godden
David Barnhill
Matt Adamson
Marcus Bai
Scott Donald
Brett Mullins and Brad Clyde were groundbreaking, if not successful

| Buderus, Webb, Lauiti'iti, Peacock,Hanley, Harris, Ellis. Would be my top class signings we made that worked out.
Trent Merrin, Greg Eastwood, Segeyaro are my 3 should have been world class signings for us Merrin and Segeyaro were class for us when they both had stints at the club but 'home sickness' got the better of them. Eastwood was a NZ international when we signed him on a 3 year deal but I wasn't too impressed with him in 2010 season and he also came down with 'home sickness'

| Buderus the best. By far. One of those "how have we signed him?!" Moments. Doubt we'll get one again anytime soon. Essentially the best in the world in their position.
