they can obviously miss out on an hours drinking money off 30/40 away fans then i take it ....someone said there has been 1 or 2 recent incidents involving away fans so they are less tolerant towards them now ?.

Also, thanks to the Leeds fans who walked out in protest with the Giants fans, hope you enjoyed the rest of your day !

Not seen any grief in there recently but im usually out of there by 6-45 ish they don't have a no away fans policy so i'd say some pr!ck$ have obviously spoiled it for everyone else.

apparently A huddersfield fan threw a drink at someone who was giving them grief, so the management decided that no huddersfield would be served as we were all there to cause trouble, despite protests from leeds fans that we'd done nothing wrong it fell on deaf ears,
a shame as most of the singing etc was good natured, but obviously the management there used that incident as an excuse to ask every single giants fan to leave.

rather silly really and could have caused more trouble than it was worth.

we were also refused to be let in the original oak too, and we would probably have been turned away from the taps too!

As Meast said, they decided to let us wait half an hour to be served at the bar then inform a big group. who were nothing to do with the original incident that we were being thrown out and wouldn't be served anymore. Just asking as a leeds fans said there had been an incident a few weeks ago and they werent risking anything kicking off so decided to make a large group leave rather than just the person involved.

No one had any issues in the past then ? could have spoilt a good day out in the end.

They must've have heard a rumour that Hudds had actually brought an away following and thought someone was deliberately taking the p*ss and became suspicious.

I walked past on my way back from the ground at around 1745 and, whatever they'd done inside, the group of Hudds fans outside the Skyrack were being unpleasant and aggressive. I wouldn't have wanted them in my pub either.

most giants fans were in good spirits and having a good old bit of a sing off and banter with leeds fans,despite the result and i didn't see or hear any unpleasantness from anyone, despite ONE person's midemeanours.

I used to go in the Arc before games but when I went after a game on one occasion they said no rugby shirts, My money was good enough before the game but not after. I have a beer in the ground now.

Blimey thats unlucky. In 10 years of going to the Arc I have never once seen anyone turned away for wearing rugby shirts.

rlEven stranger that they offer cheap food deals for folk that show their match or season ticket when ordering on match days...!rl
