just an opinion,and would welcome everybody elses views,Do you prefer to go under the banner of Great Britain or England in international fixtures.team selection wise I know it wouldn't make alot of differance,has we all know where most of the quality players come from but I've always prefered G.B.especially with the olympics coming up team G.B is going to be a massive reconised brand in the future and could only benifit R.L if we joined(not jumped on) the bandwagon.

The shirt probably would.....that England one is rubbish, whereas the old GB one with the Red and Blue V is class.

The team would not be any different. Indeed, the way it is now, anyone can declare themselves Scottish/Welsh/Irish and then switch to English when they hit some form.

But the makeup of the team is not what matters. It's the identity.

The other home nations could continue their development in the same way as before, with England (effectively a GB 2nds) competing alongside them.

I thought the whole Sport England funding thing was a myth and that Richard Lewis had categorically denied it had any influence on the switch to England?
