I know it's encouraging that theyre getting themselves into commanding positions, but letting leads slip in three games is poor but, we do have some very good youngsters and I think we'll be better in the long run

Just got back from the game, was a good one to watch.

We were bossing the game and sort of switched off and let them back into it.

Stevie Ward was outstanding apart from a brain fart in the last minute where he broke the line and booted it straight out into touch.

Brad Singleton got through a lot of work and was impressive, and Jake Normington had a decent game aswel.

I must say, if you ever get the chance to go to this fixture, do it, I can promise you you'll never seen some more weird sights than you'll see in Whitehaven's ground! People are actually allowed to park their cars on the terraces!

It was an interesting weekend all round, highly recommended!

I realise now why I left the place, it's like living in the 1970s. Somebody was actually wearing flares and had a mullet!

Welcome to the real world of Rugby League!

With no relegation you don't know that you're born!

Just think ..... because of the RFL's decision at least two of the long-established clubs will face extinction in a few months time:

Barrow
Workington
Whitehaven
Rochdale
Doncaster
Oldham

are all fighting for 4 places in next serason's Championship.

Is that really good for the game?

Does Rugby League exist outside Super League?

'Yes' is the answer but those at Red Hall don't even acknowledge the fact - little if no coverage, reduced funding etc., etc.,

As a Cougar supporter I hope that Jake Normington's injury isn't too serious.

I used to work for a surrey based consultancy company; and worked for a while on a client site in leeds; and all they surrey guys used to say similar things about leeds; i.e. its like taking a step back in time to the 70s; etc. Taking a cheap shot at whitehaven is ridiculous for someone who lives in leeds; hardly compares to seacroft, kirkstall, or beeston does it!? Seriously though; i'd rather be somewhere slightly old fashioned rather than a city where it isn't safe to walk the streets at night.
