He`s been a good un for you guys and for England.



Hope he goes on to play a few seasons in Sydney, he deserves a big contract towards the end his career.

It's an unsurprising loss, at least it's to the NRL.



My worry is that we will replace him with dross and continue to spend less and less.

With so many big names leaving / left in the last few years and others surely coming to the end of their careers we need to start long term rebuilding now,and not too late like we did with halfback and hooker.

He's been here through thick and thin, feast and famine.



Im sure no one here begrudges Hally getting hopefully a nice payday and a crack at the NRL.



Still hurts to see him go though, the melon.

Despite match results he definitely seems to be going through both thick and feast at the moment.



I think he will go great in the NRL, just do what he does best, smash the ball hard out of defence and crash over from 5 metres. Good luck to the man from me.

Unless he is planning to emigrate there, I suspect he will be back bu July 2019. Only personal opinion, but can not see him making it down there. Not as a winger anyway.

I would be surprised if he got a big payday in the NRL, he wouldn't be in the top 10 wingers in that comp, and age isn't on his side.

Why would he not make it as a winger in the NRL? Ryan has consistently put in good performances against Australia and New Zealand at international level as well as in Super League.

With a salary cap around double Super League, it’s likley he will get a substantial pay rise.

The dollar is only at 1.7ish to the pound aswell so on paper will be earning more, although having lives in Sydney for 3 years, most of his salary will be eaten up in paying rent!
