during the first half, a large group of Wakefield fans at the back of the North Terrace began a chant of 'charcoal town' against Leeds, presumably the high number of ethnic minority residents we have, and the number of ethnic minority players in our team. If anyone else heard this, and would be willing to make a statement to such an effect, could you please PM me, as it's my intention to write an official complaint to the RFL.
Racist abuse has no place in our game.

Totally agree mate.
I notice a Wakefield fan has posted that the chants were "chapeltown" < I find that slightly bizarre however. Either way, are you 100% sure?

Calling wakefield a load of poop - word changed so not to swear. Chanting about some of the players was heard on the west terrace coming from the leeds fans - maybe we'll write to the rfl about your chanting aswell!!!
Also stewards had to kick one or two leeds fans out for abusing wakey fans on the west terrace. |

Think the OP needs to tread carefully here. These allegations can be treated very serious and if no evidence to back this up could come back to bite them. Would look at locking this or even removing topic all together.
