He'll do a Karl Pryce. He'll go to Union, start okay then drift into the reserves and quit by mutual consent to return to league next season.

TBF i'd have him back at leeds and i wouldn't be surprised to see him back sooner rather than later either!

He has the talent to succeed in union, but not sure he has the mentality. I think he'll start feeling homesick fairly quickly.

Wonder what the odds would be on him returning to Leeds once Brent Webbs contract is up in 2011, even though Smith is signed to a contract until end of 2011/12 season?

I remember the rumours that we'd put an offer in for him just before he got back into the team for the play-offs two years ago. I'd love him at wigan personally, think he could play most places in the backs and still stand out.

Not sure he'll make it in union though personally, not through talent just determination to succeed, i think he'll head back sooner rather than later.

Think he has all the tools to make it in union.

I'm sure he'll have a few regrets about leaving a successsful team and one that obviously has a special unity about it.

Personally I don't think he's going to Wasps just for the money, otherwise surely he wouldn't put his hand up for England and risk an injury which may end his Union career before it starts.

I wish him all the best, but I'd love to see him back in a Leeds shirt if it doesn't work out for him.

I think he'll do well in union under Shaun Edwards.

Raynor, Price and Walker may not have come good but Ashton, Myler and Williams have done ok.
