I had to laugh last night while looking on the old teletext about rugby latest, Brian Noble said along the lines of ..." I know we're pretty much behind the 8 ball regarding recruiting new players for next year...." Now.. What the fook??? So i was wondering if anyone else has heard / seen any silly sayings (including from Old Bluey) ??

Jon Sharp has to be the dullest man in the world to listen to when interviewed. I'm just glad that we won't have to listen to his inane droning on Radio leeds every morning. I pity, however, next season's listeners of Radio Boyo.

The fact that most of what a current pro coach says is so far over the heads of most fans (and lots who have played or still play) is indicative of one of the problems we have with the game over here. Our technical knowledge is awful.

I quite like Nobby. He talks a lot of sense, but in the language of nosense. Often it's hard to unravel his point from among his many sayings and catchphrases, but when you do there's usually something worth listening to in it. It serves to make him one of the more interesting pundits when he's on TV.

What will Sky and the BBC do now, with there go to men (Noble and Harris) relocating to South Wales?
Even more McRae and Kear on Sky and Morgan on the BBC?
The other SL coaches don't have much time for the media beyond what they are obliged to do.

The Beeb have a massive HQ in Cardiff, they could just do a link up from there. They would benefit from not being in the same room as Harry Gration, which is always something to aspire to. |
