Last time we lost to Giants in Super League, we snaffled up their young, talented, exciting coach. I really rate Brown - he has got the very best out of a reasonable but not brilliant Giants team and their defence is second to none. When is McLennan's contract up and would people like to see Brown as his successor?

Do you not think it demonstrates that hetherington is prepared to employ someone based upon potential or based upon what they've shown with a "lesser team"? You know, like the OP was hypothesizing with Brown and like I took the discussion further with Smith?

Smith replaced someone who had not won anything as a coach. On the other hand this time, why would we replace the most successfull coach this club has had with someone not successfull?
