| All change starts with attitude, and I like the attitude I see under BA. I’d be asking him what it takes for him to stay another couple of years? Do we need to bring his family over? Do we need to sign his kids? Whatever it is, I’d be open to it.
He’s got a bit of a revolution going on at the club now, we need him to stay long enough to move it to a stage where it can be handed over.

| Are players still getting banned for touching the ref? If so Lisone will cop a few for hugging the ref after the handbags with Newman at the end of the game. Or if the whistle has blown is that not counted?

Do players get banned for shaking the hand of the ref after the game too

| Great performance, our pack more than stood up to the challenge, Oledski a different player with quality props up there with him. Let's hope we can build on these last two performances, the signs are definitely there.
Attack still needs to click but with O'Connor, Croft, Connor and Miller now first choice and injury free, you'd expect the attack get sharper each game.
Lots of talk about Leeming before the game, think he showed last night why O'Connor was preferred to him, he was very soft in defence, our pack knocked him back all night, also don't think Walters offered much off the bench.

Lisone did 7 minutes in the first half and 11 in the second. Not that I was counting…
Seven minutes?? There are pearl divers who can hold their breath longer than that.. Keep ‘em coming Clearwing.!

The pack and defence were brilliant, for all the effort our points came from a dropped high kick and a Ryan Hall header. I like the current spine, if we can add some cutting edge we will go well.

Yeah it’d be a huge blow if he couldn’t get more time to really embed this improvement longer term. We will have ups n downs no doubt but there’s definitely very positive signs

| I'm really liking Palasia. Mik is rightly getting the plaudits, but Palasia is freeing him up to do what he does best. Great fitness, seems to hit really hard in defence, without giving away many pens or errors.
Great win, looking forward to out attack clicking more and playing a better brand of rugby.

| I agree Batley. He's a quality coach and comes across really well. He clearly has the respect of everyone around him. And he knows exactly what he wants and how he wants his players to play. Be great to keep him for longer, whatever it takes.
Frawley and Lisone will be gone at the end of the season. If BA stays I think he will be looking at a quality NRL 9. And maybe a big powerful second row. Isn't BA's son a back rower?
FWIW - Mik was MoM for me. Closely followed by Jenkins, Bentley and Croft.

| Just watched the game on catch-up. Palasia was my MoM. He's such a consistent presence when on the field, in attack and defence. Bentley played as well as we can expect from him, I think (meant as a compliment!). No qualms with any of the forwards. Holroyd is a bit of a worry for me - his discipline is too Newman-esque, I wish he would just get on with the tough stuff and hard work like Oledski, Palasia and Jenkins. Lisone put in one good hit and didn't do a great deal wrong (there was at least one error/penalty), but let's face it, he's not the big beast that we needed to change the game from the bench (at least in our favour!).
I thought McDonnell was pretty good actually.
Croft looked dangerous on several occasions, a shame he didn't punch through to break the game. Miller looked good but a little too erratic at times, but he wasn't the only one. I think Connor was my pick of the spine - just - a bit more controlled from him and the kicking game was crucial.
O'Connor was solid. Re: hooker long-term, what about trying Cam Smith there? Has a Cunningham esque frame, good hands, good work rate - but maybe too slow in other ways? Just a thought.
