Very positive performance. Excellent justified result.

Now we know we can match the big teams in the pack (even though I still think we can improve there) we can give ourselves a chance in any game.

Thought Newman has been much better last couple of games too. Jenkins work rate in that first stint was incredible, and Croft looks much better with Connor’s creativity at the side of him. 


Final point, the first three balls that Jack gave from dummy half were better than anything JOC has sent out this season. 

Oledzski and Palesia were monsters, and Jenkins was superb in his first stint.

Loved that, two week running the pack have held there own and bettered two of the best packs in the league, defence and physicality have gone through the roof under Arthur, palasia and jenkins proving great signings

Excellent performance, forwards were immense, Connor / Croft combo light years ahead of anything we've seen in the recent past. 


Still overplaying in patches which invited Wigan back into the game, but close to an 80 minute performance. 


Said before the game if we are to lose then make Wigan beat us, rather than hand it to them. 


A well deserved win which we need to back up next week. 


Final word on the standard of refereeing. I could count on one hand the number of PTB's Wigan were onside, he kept telling them to move but did nothing about it. The ruck speed was dreadful (as usual) - again, all words from Smith and no action. 

It's so frustrating.

That was a very good performance in terrible conditions.
Forwards were very good Palasia, Jenkins and Oledzki impressive and whilst Bentley made one mistake his work rate was once again excellent and for me better than McDonnell.
Croft/ Connor has got to be our half back pairing from now on.
Miller again very good with the odd couple of brainfarts as per the norm from him.
Still not convinced Handley is a centre but full credit to Lumb apart from the dreadful mistake which led to their try, same goes for Hall who misread the play.

The pack has nothing to fear from anybody at the moment. It was great to see us ride out the 2nd half wobble, stick with it, and get the reward. The challenge now is to keep replicating the effort and concentration. Despite all the recent negativity we're heading in the right direction.
