| Just a mention for Harry Newman who was so much better tonight than last week, good application and attitude.

| At least the players can go on their European jollies every other weekend now.

We’ve got something to build on here, we had 15 minutes of madness but if Lisone doesn’t try to be something he’s not, and we don’t clock off we have a different game there.
I’m actually happier after that than last week.
I get what you're saying, but Lisone did try the pass and we did clock off. They aren't isolated incidents. We simply can't keep on keeping on, then playing when the games gone. Better than last week, certainly (the lowest of low bars). But these things cost us game after game.

| They are weak. We did a lot to not lose that game but nothing to win it until it was lost.
Better than the garbage last week but never strong enough.
The next 2 weeks could finish another season.
Leaderless and weak

| I went Saints by 8 however for me Handley is a winger not a centre and Lisone and Frawley should not be in the 17 next week. Connor in the halves Holroyd back in for a totally ineffective Lisone. Silly penalty by Jenkins to gift them a try and a stupid offload by Lisone contributed to another try. Hopefully next season we replace both Frawley and Lisone with some quality. Fingers crossed Arthur recognises Connor`s worth and stops picking Lisone for week on week poor effort..

| Beaten by the better team on the night though played better by far than last week. Next game goes one of two ways. We either dial it up another couple of notches and start showing some signs of direction, or we throw in another stinker and another season dribbles into mediocrity.

| Needs to get Handley back on the wing. The centre experiment has as predicted failed. Is ECW a ? Need a few decent signings and a plan that occasionally involves attacking before the game is lost to get to the front.

| Handley at centre or Wing is not our Issue. He’s not getting any decent ball nor are we showing any attacking shape or plays. Nor are we trying anything from deep, Handley scored two world class trys at this stage last year and he was in the Centre position when he scored both.
We are playing boring one up rugby with maybe a drop off to Macdonnell.
Thought we looked better with Miller back but I do not enjoy watching us in attack one bit

We have an aussie coach, what do we expect? the difference in NRL and superleague is the speed of the play the ball. NRL still have 4 - 5 drives and a kick. Its all BA knows. I get he has improved our defence and line speed but that is it.

| I’m starting to question the signing of ECW.
Surely we had the chance to bring in a player of quality in a position we needed added strength?
All we seem to have done is bring in a quota back to play in the reserves, when it looks like Lumb and Edgell are the preferred options to replace Sivo.
If we are not intending to use ECW in the matchday 13 most weeks then what was the point of signing him as we are effectively wasting the quota spot that became free on losing Sivo, when it would have been better used brining in another forward?
It’s looking more and more of an odd decision for me.
IF there was no one of real quality available then don’t use the quota spot for the sake of using it, wait until mid season when some players often become available from overseas
