I agree, even more so because of last nights results which were very good and the fact Sheff U and Burnley will take at least 2 points off each other either way with only 2 left to play after their game... if we win our 5 home games we're on 91 points - plus anything we pick up away.. Sheffield derby this weekend at Hillsborough and Weds will be cockahoop after coming back from 2 down to win 3-2 last night away.. Burnley have Bristol C and Cov to play just after international break too which are tricky games, Bristol C were all over Sheff U last night.. But, we need to do our job now.... no messing. I expect a big reaction these next two games. Saturday away at QPR at lunch time gives me chills.. but we need to get our heads right and the bit between our teeth and crack on. agree with all that |

Not pretty but we ground it out. Good effort from the lads after Sunday, a lot of hard work in there tonight. Pleased for Tanaka getting that goal, good to see him bounce back from his poor display at Portsmouth. Can’t believe in two and a half days we kick off again…..jeez.

Only one M.O.M for me, Rothwell. We’re a totally different team with him in. Tanaka’s was nice and tidy also, they worked the midfield well together. The lads wouldn’t thank me for it, but I’d have ‘em all on shooting practice on Friday. Don’t think I’ve seen as many shots miss the target from so many players. Good job their defender was a good finisher lol.

Agree with the above. Rothwell MOM. we're so much better when hes playing and in form. Aaronson goodd but his end product is poor, the amount of time his misses target or shoots into a defender is unreal... but he did play well.
Tanaka much better, cracking goal. Piroe very good also imo, moved ball well and held it up when needed. James had an off night, i'd have taken him off at 60mins to rest him for Saturday and put Gnonto on but hey ho.

Tough win, but good to grind out another 3 points. Crazy that he didnt make any subs til right at the end, when we have an early saturday kick off. Surely he must be making changes to the starting 11 on Saturday.
