Lots of links to free agents, those we know are moving etc. It'll be the signings we don't see coming until it's a done deal that will get over the line. Sort of the RL equivalent of the Velociraptors in Jurassic Park.

We'll have to trust to Blease and Arthur to get this right. A couple of quality additions will make all the difference. On the other hand more Vuniyayawa/Lisone/Sangare types and we'll be another couple of years away from the top.

If Blease / BA, proven deal maker and 10+ years at the very top of the world game, can't identify what we need and get them then we really are in the brown stuff. I expect us to be a completely different - better - proposition in 2025.

Completely agreed. I also think this means we don't need big names necessarily. It's the right players at the right price that will slot into the positions we need, rather than just signing a big name. Blease has been pretty shrewd at Salford at getting some quality signings out of relative obscurity. That will be supplemented by Arthur's ability to improve our current crop and some players returning from long term injury.

I'm still quality confident we might sneak into the top 6 though, so plenty to play for this season too.

I slightly disagree in that at least one of the signings is going to have to bring the top level experience and leadership that our forwards are crying out for. That won't come cheap, and it shouldn't come cheap either. It will need to be a marquee signing. Like you, I think Arthur and Blease are the men for the job. Fascinated to see how it pans out.

Why would anyone want yo sign Sezar after his spell in Super league, he simply doesn’t want to know just steals a wage.

He`s playing pretty well in the NRL and his kicking isn`t too bad either.
