I’d be happy with either. His track record demonstrates his ability to coach. To turn around perennial failures into perennial play off participants and even a GF in the NRL shows what he can do.

Does anyone know what McGuire's fall out with Peters was about that caused him to quit KR?

He wanted Ryan Hall dropping to preserve his try scoring record.
Seriously not sure mate as he seemed to be liked by the players and fans when he was there.
Probably find out when he writes his life and times of Danny Mags.

Danny McGuire didn't quit Rovers it was Peters who decided he wanted a change and brought in Danny Ward. McGuire was quite upset at the time as were most Rovers fans but it hasn't worked out too badly.
