Although not a Smith fan by any means I agree with you on the abuse aspect.
Think of his wife and kids who must realise what was going on with all the flack..
Its bad enough uprooting your family to the other side of the world with the kids losing their friends and wife her family.

It's the right decision and it's been inevitable for weeks in my opinion. Still sad though. For a few giddy months back in 22 it really did look as if he was the man to return the club to it's rightful place. Seems like an age ago now. Personally I always liked the way he carried himself and never thought (as some did) that he was arrogant. I hope he can learn from this and come again. Massive pressure to get the next appointment right.

He had to go, results and performances were on a downward Spiral, that loss to Hull was a bad one.
I wanted him to turn it around but after we collapsed at Home to Huddersfield felt that was the beginning of the end, and thats were i turned against him.
