The job Blease has got to do here is enormous. It's going to take years to dismantle the damage Smith and GH have done to our squad. The Smith disaster legacy should teach everyone a major lesson that just backing a coach with time and money will not make him a good coach. Not every coach deserves backing, Smith certainly didn't he should have gone at the end of last season when he failed that time. The blind faith shown in Smith has set us back even further, and we can add another couple years onto the never ending transition period.
I wish Blease the best of luck because he's going to need it sorting out this pigsty of a club.
I'd say its more that the issues with our team and style of play are so obvious anybody could point them out. Like shooting fish in a barrel unfortunately.
Think his comments about Mick and the rest of us actually generated a positive IMO best performance of the season from Mick.
Well done to him now hope he can keep up the improvements and make us all eat our words.
