| Quote: Loiner at large "My thoughts as well. Hopefully Blease is a good appointment but the sporting director role is to provide a structure that facilitates success and development at all levels within the club. To take a football analogy if a pep guardiola team plays his style of football at first team level all development teams within the club are coached and play a similar fashion which helps young players move upwards with a greatest opportunity to progress to that next level. Elitë level signings also fit the system and it is clear how they improve the team and compliment the club developed players. Thats my point regarding culture and identity its about a clear vision and framework to operate in at all levels. Penrith and Melbourne are good examples of this in the NRL. To be fair to RS he came in as manager but had no input to all the other coaching appointments below him. Moving forward the sporting director with significant input from the first team coach should be creating a joined up rugby pathway through all levels of the club.'"
Good post.
TBF we havent helped ourselves with the playing style being dictated largely by the coach and then were getting rid of the coach every other year and starting again. At least with Blease, he will set the clubs tone and the coach (if we get rid of Rohan) will have to fit that brief. Everything else should fall into place within that framework in an ideal situation.
Anyway until he does the root and branch which I really hope is honest and forthright it will probably be the end of the year before changes start happening I cant see major changes happening until the off season unless the wheels completely fall off.

| I like the pod. Win, lose or draw, it's always a good listen. I didn't mind the 'forthright' nature of the last podcast. Part of the attraction of fan media is that it's often unfiltered, but I appreciate that if you want to attract sponsorships, then you have to keep it PG.
Although, I would suggest maybe changing the name so it references Leeds rhinos or rugby league. That may help with the algorithm

We are hoping to do more with the club but obviously it's been a bit of a weird time for the club in general.
People need to realise that people at the club, staff, players and coaches are human beings and things affect them just as it does us.'"
I know you get it Chris you're a good chap.

| Hello!
We've asked for more access to the players and staff for our content. Which we hope comes to fruition soon enough. Like Chris said - the club have had a lot on this year - and a podcast asking for some access to players is absolutely one of the items at the very bottom of their list!
As for the recent podcast - absolutely 100% on me as much as Mark - I should have stepped in and asked for the personal abuse to stop. Some enjoyed the unfiltered podcast, some didn't, we removed it anyway and we will learn from it, grow, and promise it won't happen again.
We've all had a pretty emotional time of it recently. And recording on the day of the game, only hours afterwards, was not a good idea.
What I will say is, we love doing what we do, we love having different opinions on our platform. And we are constantly thinking of new ways to improve and make our platform look and sound better.
We've listened to all feedback, good and bad, and have taken it on board.
This recent podcast was an abnormality. Anyone that has listened to us before would recognise that.
Eddy

| Keep up the good work Eddy, the Lot pod is a good listen, especially when cutting the grass or washing the car…
