Quote: Loiner at large "Agree with Jim on this one. It needs to be viewed in the context of the overall recruitment for 2025. Its one year and qualifies for club trained dispensation so the salary cap impact will be a big saving on Fusitua and releases a quota spot! Even at 37 he can hardly contribute less than Fus! Plus the way we play our wingers are used primarily for doing the donkey work out of defence. If we get two big forwards as part of the 2025 recruitment with money and quota spots freed up can understand the logic.
He can hardly make us any worse!'"
Gives us a very solid wing option whilst freeing up a quota spot and potentially some salary cap again. A model pro in the team as well - what's not to like?
Ryan is a professional and he won't want to come and play crap at Leeds in his final year.
I'm interested whether Martin will stay or go. I thought he was very good again in the Hudds game, he's super consistent and does have some pace for a back rower. Kicking is a great asset too. I guess the club may want to retain him but it depends what other offers he might have.
