About his only defence was he didn’t have both feet off the floor and that’s only because his body position was so low one of his calves was dragging on the floor. The Saints reaction is exactly what he was going for given Paasi is still months away from recovery.

Moreover, the fact he did it in the first tackle of the game makes it clear he was trying to be the clever pantomime villain. Didn’t work out too clever for him.

Sangare and Bentley will both be called up and probably banned for next week. The rules are very difficult to play with, but the players are not helping themselves.

Sangare’s was similar ish to Lisone’s, coming in from above and behind the player. He shouldn’t be banned but he might well be.

Wouldn’t be surprised if both Sims and Bentley are given a couple of weeks after obvious blows to the head each.

He's been charged with a grade F, so a potential 6+ match ban for him.
