| Why would they want him at 31? Great kicker and ok second row but doesn’t make sense to me.

| He'll be 32 early in 2025. I don't see it making much sense either. If Fusitu'a and Martin were to leave, Isaako would be a great replacement if he was available - good wing who can play full back and a very good goalkicker.

Isaako absolute mustards.
Not cat in hells chance her come to SL, unless injury or off the field issues…..

| I think we all feel we lack punch at prop but for 2025 who knows.
We have made so many key changes for 2024 we’re going to have to be patient and see how things unfold. I’m sure there will be some surprises with several players (good and bad).
Generally though it would be handy to have one or two more quota spots for 2025 so we have more flexibility in filling gaps. Our future will depend on how the young players progress.

If Martin does leave (and best of luck to him if he does) it will be fascinating to see how the club use the spot. The obvious option would be a quota prop, but worth bearing in mind that Tom Burgess is off contract for 2025 and potentially headed for SL. If any of the talk about his desire to play for Leeds is true, you'd have to think we have an eye on that situation despite Sam being at Wire.

| The squad looks quite well balanced this season.
I am genuinely quite confident about this year. Can only see us being better, and probably better enough to have a higher win percentage. We also have decent depth in most positions and look more resilient to injury.
Plenty of questions remain, I can see quite a few leaving again at the end of this year too. Maybe we won’t even need to sign another OS quota player if Martin goes.

The moment all sins are forgiven at Souths he'll be on a plane back quicker than you can blink.

Those were my thoughts exactly. Cannot see Sam's tenure being a long one. That probably means he'll coach Wire to the GF.

| Pete smith saying on Twitter that he's been into the training camp and the spirit within the camp is the best it's been for years - I have been told this as well, I don't think it was a happy camp last year at all.
I reckon the new guys coming in have added a lot to this

| A lots to be said for team spirit and togertherness.
It happened in the Golden era and it looks like it has taken until now to get it back again.
It`s good that the bad apples have been moved on and fingers crossed it shows on the pitch now.
Similar at Leeds United where I understand a number of the players brought in by Jesse along with those who thought they deserved better didn`t help team spirit.
