| Hull fans on facebook didn't seem very upset about his departure.

| Quote Exeter Rhino="Exeter Rhino"It's interesting that Wigan's first choice hooker was displaced at Leeds by Jarrod O'Connor, who reverts to being our back-up. I liked Leeming a lot at Leeds, but he seemed to go better when played in the halves. IIRC he directed our attack well in the middle of the field, but the outside backs were poorly served. There are also big question marks over his defence (led by Wane, amongst others). A bit of a risk for a first choice spine player for a top 2 club.
Likewise, I was amazed to see that Warrington have re-signed Dwyer, another deeply flawed hooker. They will struggle if they rely on him, although he does bring the x-factor.'"
I'm surprised Leeming went to Wigan as I'm not sure he will be first choice. O'Neil displaced Powell this season and seems highly rated.

| Leeming would have been better off at Salford in hindsight, I think Oneil will be first choice for Wigan next year, I don't see Leeming fitting into the Wigan system very well personally, he's too erratic.

This.
Yet you still get people telling you that we should never have released him.

Leeming was quality for us when he was in the halfs tbf and dragged us through games.
Then his ego got the better of him and here we are.
If he tries half the stuff he did here then Peet will have him out the door almost immediately.

| To be fair Leeming can be a very good player when his team's on the front foot, which it's likely to be in most games with Wigan. Dwyer also is potentially a useful player if he's used correctly, as an impact sub for limited minutes or when the team's up against it. Any more than that and his obvious deficiencies actually hurt the team. Which is what happened under Agar.
That doesn't mean I'd want either back at Leeds, but Leeming in particular isn't a complete numpty.

| Miller, Fus, Mom, Newman, Handley, Croft, Frawley, Oledski, Ackers, Lisone, Martin, McDonnell, Smith: Holroyd, Sangare, Goudemand, O’Connor.
We lose one prop, we have maybe Gannon to put in or Bentley. Lose two and we’re into lightweights or academy type lads. And depending on which two we could look much worse.
I think carrying a relatively light second row, we have to have bulk at prop consistently.
Wilson might be one of the better options out there in the circumstances to be fair. He is a grafter and takes his carries.
One more decent prop and I’m pretty happy.

| Fully agree Jim. I think top 3 or 4 could be out of reach without unless we get lucky with injuries
