He played 17 last year. Not great but moving in the right direction. If he can play 22 plus games he'll be a massive asset.

The biggest problem with Fusitua is arguably the lack of service he's received at Leeds, which given our half-back and centre predicaments is not his fault. Handley wasn't great last season either, and had a fair few injuries too.

The new half backs and centre should help, it's just hoping he plays 80%+ and not 50% or less.
We need his power to help out the pack early sets and his skill in the opposition 20

I don’t think Eseh has been confirmed to Saints yet either which makes me wonder there too.

Wing - I’d hope we’d give Simpson first shot and we have Edgell and Lumb who could hold the fort too. The only rationale for another winger would be if we let Olpherts go early.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t announce it if they had signed him. He’s a Leeds lad you would think things being equal he’d sign for us.

He is raw but young, big, and extremely aggressive.

Wing option could be Kershaw at Wakey. Although having read the article it's just Barrie Mac saying what he thinks they need, not saying they are actively pursuing. Getting Eseh would complete an amazing round of recruitment.

Eseh plus Hudson would be a great pair of young backup props with plenty of potential.

They would put genuine pressure on the top 4 props which I think they need, and give us much better depth.

After prop we can look at wing given our current wingers’ injury record but…Kershaw I’d be happy with as a replacement for Olpherts but not as well as. I would a million percent play Simpson before Olpherts and probably Edgell or Lumb. Or we could play Miller on the wing and Myler FB or Momirovski to wing and Simpson to centre… much rather we put money into a prop of the right type.

Agree with all that other than Miller to the wing. We're going to want Miller with his hands on the ball as much as possible.

Obvs only an option to cover if Handley and / or Fus get injured. Point being we do have some cover with decent quality at wing even if we didn’t make another signings, and it’s possible that 2025 will see one or two more academy graduates ready. Said it before but I quite like Webster, Frater and a couple others.
