Morning guys! I haven’t had anything worth while reporting and I haven’t had any info mainly. But I met up with my pal and he only confirmed what we knew, there are some very big differences behind the scenes. A few more players set to leave, Nene isn’t returning but it was all hush about that and it seems it’s the player not club to blame. The one big issue what I can gather is recruitment is just not happening, we are offering multiple deals out and players just don’t want to come to us. There are a lot of closed door session’s between just Smith and Gary, which apparently is unusual. Really bad news though, Frawley is all but done, I hate this one what a disgraceful signing, he is absolutely awful and one of the worst signings we will every make, him and Myler in the halves is not even championship level. He said a lot of players are upset they aren’t kept in the loop about anything anymore. So, not much of an update but my opinion thrown in. We will be a bottom 4 club from now on.

I have no idea about the rest, but Frawley is genuinely not a good player. Clune would be better, but so would most NRL reserves.

Frawley is an absolute shocker of a signing. Just who is making the recruitment calls? Gary or Rohan?

Matt Frawley is a marker of where this club is now at. He is a terrible signing, offers nothing with the ball and is barely competent without it (which for SL will be fine I suppose).

If this is the level of signing we are looking to make, then GH and RS can both bugger off, they are crucifying our chances of success. Awful, awful signing, so frustrated with the club right now.

What a mess we appear to be in

Whoever it is he or they have lost the plot.
What do they see in him.Offers nothing in attack,no pace and seems to hide,you would hardly know he was on the pitch from Canberra's last 2 games.

He played a bit at hooker on the weekend, and was as anonymous there as at halfback. By the way, does anyone at all remember him at Huddersfield? I remember him being rubbish for the Dogs, and now Raiders, but have zero memory of him at Hudds. The only possible value of signing him would be as cover, or if the plan was to use next season to get Sinfield up to scratch. Utter waste of a quota spot. I'd really not bother, and just look to the Championship (or someone like Milnes), and put a quota spot elsewhere.

If he does sign its indicative of a club that has no idea at all. We've had a whole year knowing at least one of our halfbacks was going, and quite likely two. We've seen for multiple years that you cannot perform as a team with rubbish halfbacks. With cap and quota space available, next season was our chance to take a leap from lower half of SL to challenging for the top. Signing someone like Frawley really would make me feel that the club has no desire to get back there.
