Look at what we spent on Segayaro, Merrin, Hurrell, Loloheia, Tetevano, Leeming, Mellor…. It’s not that we won’t spend money it’s that we’ve frankly spaffed hundreds of thousands of pounds on poor decisions and players who just have not delivered for us.

Most of those signings for me were not who we needed, or what we needed at the time. There have been some exceptions but overall our recruitment has just not been good enough not just for a couple of years but for a very long time.
