I was just about to ask about Matt frawley reading some comment he worse than what we had last year but never seen him play

If Frawley isn’t better than Sezer really what’s the point?

From recollection he's a stand off who tends to play left side. Nice passing game and also a strong defender. I'd say he’s more of a replacement for Austin, and I'd suggest he would be a definite upgrade at this point in both their careers. It only works for me if there is another dynamic half back incoming.

Sezer didn't want to stay anyway so we're in to the beggars can't be choosers stage where upgrade or otherwise we need bodies to play those positions. Frawley is out of contract so it's not a great leap of the imagination to link him to us, he was much younger at the giants so whether he's developed much im not sure. He's on the bench for Canberra today

Frawley wasn't great at hudds but neither was cogger and he's been good for Penrith this year. Frawley been good for Canberra reserves for last few years. Who else is there?

I’m not sure but struggling to make the 6 again, I’d say plenty of SL teams with less resource and “draw” than Leeds have found better signings somehow…

Whoever we do sign, 2024 will be much more a Rohan Smith side and I think we all expect significant improvement in performances.

Part of our problem at half back is that we have really failed to produce anyone through the academy for a very long time, up until now with Sinfield and maybe McCormack. Other clubs seem to have whatever English talent there has been.

Matt Frawley would not be the answer to your half back problems. He was pretty average when he was at the Giants. Most supporters were glad to see him leave as I recall, although I did get quite friendly with him and he is a top bloke, but that dosnt make him a good half back though !! Cogger was a lot better than Frawley his all round game was far better and more accomplished than Frawley ever was.

I can just about cope with Miller at FB, he gives me Damian Gibson vibes. I think he will bring something different to Myler.

I just feel if we are actually ambitious to win, we are going to have to recruit a couple of players who can break a game.

I don’t know much about Frawley but I don’t think we can judge him based on one year at Huddersfield 4 years ago.
