Bateman has looked physically shot all season at Wests. He's either carrying an injury or he's done for good.

I’m not sure how the heck we’ve managed to get into this position years into a “rebuild”. All the above need to be first grade starters / ideally some of the best in SL.

We are desperate for some real skill and quality in the links and more pace out the back.

It’s not all negative bc we do have a really good solid core of a team now, but we just have to do better with signings. I like Lisone, McDonnell and MacDonald so I’m hopeful Smith has an eye. I just want GH to give him the reins and let him build his own team.

That's because under GH the "rebuild" "transition" etc is never ending, we just buy next year's deadwood that we desperately want to get rid of and then the rebuild starts again each year. We're in purgatory and it's never changing until he does.

I think there's a big myth here with fans complaining about Leeds being in transition too long. Even successful teams are in a more or less permanent state of transition and rebuild. It's just the case that teams like Saints (and Leeds in the past) were better at managing things in the longer-term.

Good signing, union 7s convert so very athletic, didn’t get a see in at cronulla until they were barebones but he looked good for the knights at fullback, wonder where we’ve signed him to play as knights fans wanted him to play 6 and ponga fullback rather than the opposite.
