I've no idea what he's supposedly said. The fact is he's been banned for 12 games for comments that were found (highly) offensive, presumably comments that have no place in the game. As I say, I don't know what they were. However, compare this ban to those handed out for other things that rightly have no place in the game, potentially career-ending tackles for example. Is 12 games the new benchmark for those? If not, why?
