| Quote: ryano "The bawling on RedVee is as good as the result. Apparently Myler is a grub for milking getting hit in the head with Hurrell's shoulder! The post from someone who "talked to a Leeds fan" who backed up every moan they had throughout the game is hilarious! Of course you did son, of course you did! I spoke to a Saints fan who said we were by far the better team, that Welsby is a man-child, Hurrell should be banned for 10 games and Jon Wilkin is an embarrassment to commentating!
Just had a quick scan through some of the comments. Brilliant. It was Mylers fault Hurrell got sent off. Play acting. It was Myler obstructing Sironen, after he passed the ball. Where was Sironen meant to go? Leeds cheated and it was all the refs fault.

| My particular favourite from the saints site re our short kick offs.
''Put it this way - I'd be very pleased if LEeds decide to spend games against us trying to cheat their way into easy possession like that''
Short kick offs are now cheating

实事求是!: |

| Quote: TheWarringtonWolve69 "This St Helens team is the greatest of the super league era. Fact
You can argue against it all you want but you are wrong.
Probably the greatest ever as Wigan won their titles playing against drunks, pit miners and whippet breeders'"
Wigan have won more trophies in history than any other team. Fact. The quality of who they did it against is subjective and not a matter of record. In the same way you could argue saints have won their recent titles in a weak competition with no credible challengers. You can do mental gymnastics and use the super league cut-off, but when that gets rebranded over the coming years it’ll be easier just to use all of history.
These type of dick measuring contests are so tedious. But, Ok yeah, Saints are the greatest and will be until the end of time. Have your lollipop if it makes you feel good.

| "When I played the replay back a few times Myler was fairly aware of Hurrell coming in and stepped towards him and released the ball knowing he was going to get impact at a high level. Hurrell himself was very frustrated with the outcome and I don't think it was mean't to be deliberate he's just not that type of player. Most will remember the crash tackle on Johnsone were Hurrell helped him off the floor and asked if he was alright."
The gift that keeps on giving! I was at The Shay the night Konrad ruptured Cameron Ciraldo's pancreas with a big hit so Richie giving him a free shot is either incredibly brave, incredibly stupid or it's just a load of bollox from Redvee again! Hmmmm!

Lol.
You can almost tell who has never played rugby, or any contact sport for that matter, by the ridiculous claims they make.
No-one without a deathwish is going to thrust their chin towards Hurrell's shoulder at speed on purpose. Natural reaction would be to raise the shoulder and protect your face.
I personally don't think Hurrell meant to do it, he just isn't that type of player. But I also know Myler didn't purposefully take the contact either.
