I'd like to see is join up with a team like Penrith who have a great reputation for producing their own players. Share coaching tips and open avenues for some of our young players to go play out there and vice-versa. I don't know how feasible that is but not like the 'partnerships' we've had in the past when players have left us for the NRL. It seems like the NRL accept that players are more likely to break through in their early to mid 20's. Maybe having that link would allow us to bring talented players in who either aren't quite there and need game time. Or those deemed not quire good enough in the NRL

Or even one of the second string teams that Rohan coached?
I`m sure some of their half backs are better than what we produce and would be good for their development playing in SL.

Wasn’t sure if a separate thread was better for this but just wondered what people felt on this question. Out of the young players in the squad do we think any will actually get SL game time this year and if so who would get the most minutes. I exclude gannon and O’Connor from that list given they both got significant minutes last year.

We need to get Holroyd out there. Tindall will, I imagine, cover a few times along with such as McDonnell who can cover centre or 2nd row. Newman badly needs a good run of games and will feature providing he's fit. If Johnson's a keeper then he needs more game time than just covering the occasional short term injury or suspension.

I hope we see more of Simpson and/or Edwards

Holroyd is a unit thats for sure. Hoping for big things this season from him.

Tindall is dreadful. Id rather have Joe Vickery back.

I would say Tindall is 10 times better than Vickery and if he can work on his defence he won`t let many down.
Trouble is he will be behind Olpherts now to cover the wing once our centres are fit.
