Good the lad now needs to make the 13 shirt his for the next 5 years

Looked really good since smith came in, hopefully now playing the role and game that suits him. 3 years seems long though after one half a good season.we have been stung by these longer deals recently.

Started last season really poorly and didn't seem to be living to his potential, but fair play to him, really turned his season around once Rohan came on board. Hope he keeps it up and lives up to his potential.

Good news, looked hugely improved under Smith. Has so much raw talent imo, has the skills to be one of the best 13's in SL.

I'm excited to see what the younger players can do in a more balanced team,preseason training for current position etc etc.
Newman and Holroyd included, both had bad injuries/ ban that kept them out for long periods

I think this season could be the year he really starts to fulfil his potential. If he can stay injury free and improve his conditioning, he could force his way into the England conversation. People talk about Knowles and Smithies, but Smith is levels above in terms of skills.

Very different players. Then you've got Radley (minus that pass in the semi) Smith would have to go up a few levels to be in there, much as I like him and hope he starts more often than not next year.

Dont think Smith as the athletic ability of most modern 13’s but does have the ball skills of older style 13’s has a bit of the Gavin Milller look about him, also John Pendlebury, Dave Heron. Thats the direction he should be heading, out and out ball handler.

Would love Radley at Leeds. Quality.

Maybe that's what he was discussing with Bentley...?
