So the swap deal is between us and Huddersfield and I can’t get anymore out of that because it’s very close to being finalised. Tetevano has been given an ultimatum, either he shapes up or he can find another club, so far he is staying which is unfortunate, because he was pathetic is the WC. The centre situation is still being explored with even more names in the hat, we have approached Salford for Lafai but are we going to shell out a fee and here’s one for you, Kallum Watkins had a conversation on the a phone with GH, which was witnessed by a colleague of my mate, what a return that would be! No more information on it but there are a lot of meeting going on over the next few days and we are meeting on Thursday afternoon again so I will dig. It still isn’t a no on Nene but reading the current lines you would expect him to stay at Leigh. I asked about the Wigan and Catalans shake up and apparently it’s mainly Catalans who have basically told half their squad they can leave. But they are now throwing the kitchen sink at trying to replace them and approaching multiple clubs to buy players, even Saints were approached for Percival which was a resounding no from all parties. Josh Griffin and Chris Satae were enquired about aswell for huge transfer fees, so that’s what is meant by it. That’s it’s for today guys.

Much prefer him over Watkins.

Having had a look at the Giants squad Prop (middle forwards) does seem to be the one position where they are overloaded. Think Oliver Wilson would be far more likely than Matty English though.

Olly Wilson is a good young prop forward
He played for England Academy v Australia Schoolboys in 2018 whilst still at the Bulls so he has good pedigree

Yeah, he's a good player. With respect to Sharky and his source I do find this rumoured swap deal a bit of a puzzle. There aren't many obvious holes in the Huddersfield squad and certainly not ones where Leeds have the depth to lose a player. Guess we'll see soon enough.
