| Quote D4mo78="D4mo78"The legacy from thus world cup needs to be a structured international calendar. I know IMG have that as a main objective which is good. But it doesn't need to be reliant of the tier 1 nations. Its great exposure for the lower ranked nations to play the big guns, but there needs to be structured and visible competition for them against the lower ranked nations. Something like the Nations League in football where its all set out with an through the calendar and a tournament at the end.'"
France, Wales, Ireland and Scotland have previously played a European Cup, when did that tournament last take place? It should be an annual tournament in all years there isn’t a World Cup.

| Quote Jrrhino="Jrrhino"I think what could be beneficial for the International game is to have like a Nations League Concept like they have in football were you have different tiers and have promotion & relegation between the Tiers. Based of this years world cup and last couple of years of internationals I think Tiers could look something like this
Tier 1: England, Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa & PNG
Tier 2: France, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon & Fiji, Cook Islands.
Tier 3: Wales, Scotland, Jamaica, Greece.
Could even have teams like USA, Malta & Serbia involved in Tier 3.
Who ever finishes bottom in Tier 1 is relegated to Tier 2 & Whoever finishes bottom in Tier 2 is relegated to Tier 3
Who ever finishes top of Tier 2 is promoted too Tier 1 & whoever finishes top of Tier 3 is promoted too Tier 2.
If you did this in-between World Cups I think we'd see the International Rugby League flourish. I'd also have the World Cup every 3/4 years.'"
Thats a good idea. should submit it to IMG / RFL etc if it's possible.

England 19-Man Squad for the Quarter Final Against PNG
England Head Coach Shaun Wane has named the 19-man squad for Saturday’s RLWC2021 Quarter Final against Papua New Guinea at Wigan’s DW Stadium (230pm kick-off).
Captain Sam Tomkins, centres Kallum Watkins and Herbie Farnworth, and forwards Michael McIlorum and Elliott Whitehead return to the squad after missing last Saturday’s final group fixture against Greece.
It will be England’s third World Cup match against the Kumuls, following victories in a group match in Townsville in 2008, and at the same Quarter Final stage in Melbourne in 2017.

| Not picked again for England
Has wane got an issue with him or does he really think Mike Cooper is a better player?

| I'm not saying it's the right decision, but maybe Wane sees Oledzki as a starting prop, not an impact prop. He seems to see Burgess and Cooper as impact props.

No, games like these if he were picked would improve him as a player.
