| Quote FGB="FGB"Ridiculous ban for what happened. 1 actual punch as the aggressor (reacting to a squirrel grip) all others thrown while retreating, defending himself against a pack of attackers. What the actual F is the disciplinary looking at?'"
Where has it stated he was responding to a squirrel grip? If so, I would have thought A) Leeds would have used in mitigation B) The offending player would have got an even larger ban.

| 10 games seems harsh the only other recent punch up I can think of this year was Dezaria and Ellis earlier in the season and I think they both got 5 games?
If Tom gets 10 I can only assume if Bentley ever throws a bunch he’ll be struck off permanently…

That about sums up how they’ve completely lost the plot.
Leeds should be appealing it and get legal counsel in to push back.

| What do the accumulated squad bans come to for the season so far? 30 games I'm guessing.

Me too. It seems to me the point at which a legal argument will have the biggest impact is getting the initial grading reduced. I don’t know where in the process that happens. Is it before the Tuesday hearing? Newcastle got their player down to a grade E which then flows naturally into a 5 game ban.

| Remember when Garbutt punched Tamou in the World Club Challenge against North Queensland? He got 2 games for that. I know it's 6 years ago but has the game really changed that much? The first Holroyd punch deserves a ban, there's no complaints there. But the others were thrown as players were going to punch him. Is he being punished for being a better fighter? The bans the league have dished out this season have lead to this. Because players are picking up 2, 3, 4 game bans for small offenses, it means the bar has been set. But then you compare it to the Sam Powell crusher and can't see any consistency. Which one of those incidents is most likely to cause a serious long term injury

Mark Dunning in the post match interview and Stuart Duffy on Facebook.
Ten matches is ridiculous (puts paid to the 'RFL faves' tag you and us seem to share the rest of the RFL fraternity gives us), even as Bradford players were trying to pull him out the Newcastle players were coming in waves for him and then they rabbit punch him?
His first shot was a peach though...
