| Quote Rhinoshaund III="Rhinoshaund III"I honestly cant believe theyve banned Gannon for 2 matches.
Rightly or wrongly, hes shown genuine concern, bent both legs, put his hands under Coote in an attempt to put him in the recovery position. In that split second, hes let go as the physio has pushed him out of the way. He lifted him no more than an inch.
The problem here is the disciplinary comes out and hes charged with “other contrary behaviour” for lifting an injured player. But no one remembers it. So everyone assumes hes done the old “grab em by the shirt, lift em up and drop em”.
Hes a young lad, naive, but there was literally no malice whatsoever. And it doesnt deserve a ban. A warning at worst. Even that would be harsh.'"
Just watched the Gannon incident.
Complete joke!

| I think it's a harsh penalty but not a joke by any means.
The guy was on the floor injured, moving him with any malintent or not might of made him a paraplegic for the rest of his life. He is not a trained medical proffesional and shouldnt of touched him.
The message is clear for anyone that touching an injured player will get you a ban.
What is a joke is that Gale managed to get his lumped into one penalty and got away with 5 games!

| Club falls short on discipline shocker.
We've seen bans already for this offence. Either the coaching staff aren't flagging up the things that attract bans or the players aren't taking heed.
Hopefully Smith picks up on these seemingly small details, and all the others, and puts it right. Because there's absolutely no need.

| It would help considerably if there were any sort of consistency - Percival walking away with no ban whatsoever when his head shot against Sio is far worse than any of the high tackles we've had players banned for (bar Bentley's first). I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it really does feel like we as a squad have been judged under different rules this season.

| Out of interest does anybody have the stats that show how many games have been missed by players per club due to bans?
I bet we are pretty near the top.

| Very clever use of the rules by Leeds Rhinos, made him available for under 18s that week so he’d be able to use it as a suspension, meaning he only misses one SL game v Salford.

| Good to see the club giving a proper update.
Does that mean the players returning to full training are available for Salford?
